Unotes is a note taking application with focus on tags, speed and structure.

TAGS AND TIPS
Tag unstructured notes: relevant suggestions will simplify the search and adding.
Review your ideas that are close in meaning together: the search suggestions will find the necessary context for you.

SPEED
Record urgent thoughts and go back to your activities: you can add tags later.
Make notes on the go: the notification widget will allow you to add insights, even without entering the application.

STRUCTURE
Use filtering to find and display what you need at the moment: the tags will set the context, and done tasks can be hidden. This is more convenient than going through nested folders.
Add ideas and actions directly to the needed context: filter tags will appear in the note automatically.

CALENDAR
Visualize the dynamics of note taking: the calendar will show the frequency of use of tags.
Find the context of the recorded observations: transition to a specific day from the calendar will help to do it faster.

Ratings and reviews

Love this app! It's clean and responds fast, really handy for collecting and organizing quick thoughts and fragmented infos. To dev: I love using Compact text mode but find it inconvenient to copy notes, as it lacks the action panel that appears when you click on the time in other display modes. Would you consider making use of the right swipe gesture and adding some shortcuts to it, such as done/undone for to-dos and copy for regular notes, just like the left swipe for deleting notes?

I really like this app but there's a lot of room for improvement! I have been looking for an app with tags for a long time. That said, to me the colors are just... Hideous! They repeat too often, don't contrast enough and the color "options" are very limited. You can't move a note to a different feed. And I'm still not sure what half of the icons do... 3 out of 5 until some improvements are made.

Awesome notes app, been using it for a few years as I find the tagging feature great. I did recently discover something that should have been obvious to me and that was backups. I'd gotten so used to Google Notes etc where everything is automatically saved to a cloud. I realized this the hard way when I reset my phone and forgot to make a Unotes backup. As you can guess, I lost a few years worth of notes. I'm not sure why it never occured to me...but can we get a nonlocal backup option please?
