Ferroli AC Split is one app which belongs to an Air Ecosystem (IOT system), it can be operated with Wifi module and cloud service. The cloud service is powered by AWS(Amazon Web Service), and the chip of Wifi module is powered by Qualcomm. User can easily control AC by using this app which can have following special functions:

This app is complete RUBBISH! It does not recognize it's own make, you have to set up manually, that is confusing, first you have to change your phone to recognize your equipment as a router, then it connects, and then it can't switch back to your own router, you have to do it manually, then you have to log out and log in again to get control over your AC. And THEN it often looses connection to your WiFi. Also, if your phone uses 5 Gig band on WiFi, hen you loose control, although the AC was installed to use the 2,4 Gig. Conclusion: USELESS app.

90% of the time the device shows as offline, even though the wifi is stable, the AC unit is close to the router. If I delete the device and reconnect it, it shows online for a day, then it's back offline. Having remote access to the AC was a selling point for me and I'm very dissapointed. The app looks nice, too bad it's not usable...

This app is utterly useless. I'm using a Ferroli Giada 12 a/c unit. The unit is about 3 metres away from my router. It refuses to connect. I've tried everything. As for the hand controller, it's a ridiculous size and is sure to get dropped and broken. The whole setup would be out of it's depth in a puddle.
