2 years in, and still liking it But 4 down to 2 today Well, that was a month ago. I have been without notifications on text for at least a month. I have been given a few excuses and still waiting for the Google update. Support is always there and quick to respond, but the designers need to get it together to fix this.

I've used Fonus in Canada (Ontario) and the USA (Florida) for 2 months (in addition, made calls to Vietnam, Slovania, & Mexico) with the overall experience as very good with some minor calling issues (delay and/or distortion in conversations, the odd dropped call or poor reception). Texting, social media & customer support all work well. Overall Fonus works almost as good as Bell and is great value for the money. I would recommend Fonus to others with a 4.5 star rating.

the ability to make calls to 50 countries and back to you home country is great but there are two big negatives. 1. When you call within a foreign country the call display shows random numbers from different other countries. Many people didn't asnwer my calls thinking it was spam. 2. Texting within non-home country costs are very high at 12 cents a pop. 3. The service became almost unusable over kast few months in Canada, with dropped calls, inability to connect, garbled sounds. Time to switch.
