Note: This application was created for learning on a tablet, please note that its operation on a phone will be altered, however you can use part of the functions correctly in landscape mode. It may possibly work acceptably under Android 4.2.
Kanji have a bad reputation. Not living in a "Universe of signs", Westerners have not, in general, developed their visual memory. What makes these many signs difficult to memorize.
To help you in your learning, we offer two approaches:
- A graphic approach: see what the images represent: Kanji are comics!
- A description of the 2 families of elements of which the Kanji is composed: "Key and Phonetic Radical".
The application comes in 3 forms:
- "Memento and dictionary of Kanji" (2143 usual Kanji)
- "Kanji well seen, well understood, well learned" (486 basic Kanji)
- "Demonstration Memo" (45 Kanji)
These applications will give you, by Kanji, grouped on a file, everything offered by other software: reading(s), writing, order of strokes, compounds, meanings... But you will also have:
● A 3-step process (from drawing to Kanji) to follow the graphic evolution
● An explanatory approach presenting the Kanji in their two components: "key" and "phonetic", which makes it possible to clearly understand their meaning and therefore to remember them.
● A tutorial with, in addition to the standard functions, a customizable page to learn at your own pace.
● General documentation giving historical landmarks, structures, a user guide....
