About this app

Remark: this application was created for learning on tablet, please note that its functioning on telephone will be altered. You can still use some of the functions correctly in landscape mode.

Kanji have a bad reputation. Not living in a "World of signs", Westerners do not, in general, develop their visual memory: what makes these numerous signs difficult to remember.

To help you in your learning, we propose you two specific approaches:
- A graphic approach: see what represent the pictures. Kanji, It's comics!
- A description of the two families of elements that make up the Kanji: "Key and Phonetic Primitive ".

The application comes under two forms:
- "Handbook and Dictionary of Kanji" (2143 Kanji in common use)
- "Demo Handbook" (45 Kanji)

These applications give you, by Kanji, grouped on a screen, all that propose the other software: reading (s), writing, stroke order, compounds, meanings ... But you will have in more:

● A 3-step path (of the Kanji drawing) to follow its graphic evolution

● An explanatory approach presenting Kanji in their two components: "key" and "phonetic primitive", allowing a proper understanding of its meaning and therefore help for its remembering

● A tutorial having, in addition to standard functions, a customizable page to learn at your own pace.

● 8 files of General features (historical landmarks, structure, statistics …) and a user guide.

For a complete description, if you read French language, please visit our Web site: http://www.fransorient.com

Kanji Handbook covers the analysis of 2143 usual Kanji to be found with a "Search" function, a general documentation as well as a function of "Favorites"!
