About this app

You can choose to follow a themed series or you can choose to read from different themes. It is set up to read a devotional every day.

The Salvation Army Children and Youth is an independent children's and youth organization under the Salvation Army with approximately 3,000 members in Norway. We have a number of different offers for children and young people distributed across our 104 corps (congregations). The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization and religious community. It was started in the poor part of East London by William and Catherine Booth in 1865. The ideology on which the Salvation Army is based is often called "salvationism" and is summed up in the key terms "Soup, soap and salvation".

Soup – symbolizes the basic, physical needs. Examples can be food, clothing, warmth or a roof over your head.

Soap - is about dignity, inclusion and self-respect. To meet these needs, you can offer a job, network, friendship or a Sunday dinner.

Salvation - expresses God's boundless and life-changing love through Jesus. The Salvation Army believes that anyone who wants to can be saved - a Christian - and discover God's individual plan.
