About this app

GTEats is Guyana’s first secure, cashless food ordering and delivery service with service
available in the greater Georgetown area as of January 2023. The GTEats app features
Guyana’s favourite restaurants, eateries, catering companies, food products companies,
pharmacies and grocery stores. Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and the app
allows consumers to track their order in real time along with the name and photo of the delivery
driver.
The GTEats technology platform includes mobile apps for Consumers, vendors and delivery
drivers The GTEats technology platform features secure PCI compliant encrypted payments
with no card information stored in the app or on the company’s servers. A convenience feature
uses the consumer’s unique device ID to authenticate their payments, eliminating the need to
re-enter sensitive information.

Phone number input validation when signing in is broken. Requires one too many digits. Unable to sign in.

Everytime I am in Guyana I use this app. Its very helpful and serves the purpose. My only problem is that I do not believe the drivers treat the delivery with priority. More than once I have had to wait over 2 hours to get my food order. Also there should be some improvement to the live map, it doesnt really work properly for the customer when trying to track your order. Additonally there is no business that works in the night which is when people will really need the service.

The online support is suprisingly fast and so are the drivers. Being able to pay with my card is the best part about this. Although they need more vendors and for the vendors to update their menus correctly. Another great part is that you can add money to your wallet in the app, which is handy cause I don't always have my card on me. The location could definitely be improved because I don't think it's actually helpful to the drivers since they still have to call for directions
