Background:
The purpose of this application is to streamline the process of determining whether a product is permissible for consumption under Islamic dietary laws, particularly in non-Muslim countries. It aims to accommodate a wide range of users, including both residents and travellers, regardless of their location. The pursuit of this idea goes back to 2021, when I (Shaheer Ahmed) experienced difficulty in identifying halal products during his initial days of living in the UK. Although most products found are suitable for Muslims diet, but it's still something of a concern specially for the newly settled individuals. Despite the existence of other applications that offer barcode scanning capabilities, I recognized that many products cannot be identified via barcode due to limited data accessibility. As a result, the application offers the option to scan ingredients directly on a product or manually search for ingredients if they cannot be scanned. Praise to Allah for igniting this idea in my mind, I hope this little effort from my side adds to greater results and provides a more comprehensive solution for users.

One of the best halal checking app I have used. I am a student in germany and its very difficult here to confirm if the product is halal while buying from local stores. This app lets you check those items through barcodes or list of ingredients. Some other apps that I used only had the barcode option which limits it to their database of barcodes so if a product is not in their database you cannot check the halal status. This is where Taste halal app takes it to next level 🔥🔥

This is literally the app that most Muslims dream about. Most other apps barcodes are either faulty or not yet added but this is a game changer. First, you can scan barcode (or one from gallery) and use it but if it doesn't work (rare), then just scan the ingredients and AI will take care for the rest of it. Only downside is that it needs internet connections but then again it's so convenient and reliable, it doesn't even matter.

Very good app ,I recommend, one of the Best in his category, thanks to the developer.
