Ratings and reviews

The app used to be great, but with the redesign: there's no visual indication outside of the app that a timer is running (used to be a notification bar item); I have to manually refresh to pull the current time values from Harvest (used to be auto); and the default page is no longer the page where you can track new time. Very disappointed with the recent changes.

15 years using the app for receipt tracking and invoicing. The new app completely ruined my experience, slow response, no feedback to entering values resulting in either lost revenue lost receipts or a dozen repeat entries. There was nothing wrong with the old app, you could have just changed the look but noooo let's reinvent the wheel. Thanks for the quick CS response but it was: sorry you don't like it anymore, don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Why take an app that was working so well and force us to upgrade to this buggy and horrible experience of what Harvest has now become? (1) Projects aren't consistently tracking, sometimes when I click to start tracking I come back to find it wasn't tracking at all. (2) There is no counter on the app icon to show whether it's running or not. That feature was so helpful not sure why it's now removed. (3) When I add notes in a project I'm tracking sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't...

What's new

This update includes improvements to the closed beta for SAML authentication.

We’ve also fixed bugs and made enhancements:

• Time update buttons no longer hidden by keyboard
• Improved experience while tasks load
• Consistent display of uninvoiced amounts with the web app
• Pinch-zoom available for expense photos
• Improved tracking across time zones
• Links in existing time entry notes now carry over
