About this app

It allows you to record the hydrants in your local area, town, region, etc. Used together with the LPN Storz cover (D-Storz) from Hawle, you can take action against unwanted water withdrawal and tampering in your network of hydrants. The App alerts you when the Storz cover on a hydrant is opened or the hydrant is knocked over. Go that one step further to making the drinking water supply even more reliable. The Low Power Network from Swisscom, powered by LoRa, ensures the signal is transmitted from the Hawle LPN Storz cover.

The newly developed D-Storz from Hawle Armaturen AG – with digital components – connects your pipeline network with your Smartphone, computer or tablet. The D-Storz from Hawle is equipped with an electronic sensor that recognises unauthorised water withdrawal and well as if the hydrant is knocked over. In such a case, the responsible persons immediately receive an alarm message with the exact location and a map section from Google Maps.
