About this app

Device Configurator Mobile App- The Honeywell device configurator app provides the experience of managing safety (gas detectors) instruments on a mobile platform. It simplifies interaction with both portable and transportable gas detectors when they are in close proximity. It also provides the flexibility and convenience to access information stored on instruments without having to move them.

Note:
Customers must upgrade to the latest version of the app to take advantage of the latest features and security updates that may impact the previous versions of the app. In addition, the customer-reported issues in previous releases will only be addressed by the newest software release.

With the Honeywell Device Configurator app, you can:
• Download data log from instruments
• Manage device configuration
• Filter and review alarm events and summary
• Email data in standard CSV format
• Upload instrument data into remote monitoring software
• Firmware update for supported instrument

This app drains my battery without even using it. I installed it to configure my Gassy, and forgot about it. My Pixel was getting red hot and losing all its battery and I've found through Battery usage it's the app that's been using the most, and that's above Spotify playing music all day at high volume. Why? I wasn't even using this app.

This app has promise, but without any documentation on how to use it, it's of limited value. You can view current monitor readings (on a minirae 3000 in my case), but are limited to "Guest Mode" and can't actually make any device configurations from the app. Apparently you need to purchase and setup some other piece of desktop software (Pro Rae Guardian) to make full use of this application. Pretty disappointing.

Probably worst app I've used. Freezes non stop, often takes 5 seconds to register button pushes, most menu items I can't even select. Only way to close app is to force shutdown from phone menu.
