About this app

Great Tafsirs is a non-profit application for the sciences of the holy Qur’an; where users from all around the world can effectively access a large database of Qur’anic Commentary (tafsir) for the most important and accredited Sunni, Shi’ite, and Sufi scholars in the Muslim world such as Al-Zamakhshiri, Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Razi, and Ibn Kathir, etc. The application covers the seven Islamic schools (madhabs): Shafi’i, Hanafi, Maliki, Hanbali, Ja’afari, Zeidi, and Ibadhi, and does not adopt a certain school or support one without the other; as it aims at providing all relevant sciences and the users have the freedom to choose what they want without being directed to one.

It also provides access to several works of Qur’anic translations, recitations, and other essential resources of meanings, syntax, and revelation reasons, etc. Moreover, it provides an advanced user-friendly search engine that enables users to search for words and text within Qur’an.

Ratings and reviews

Very large library of tafseers. Good layout. Readable font. Appears stable so far. Allows multiple bookmarks. It will be useful to have a comparison feature of multiple tafseers on a particular ayah.

this app is nice and helpful. it would have been better if we were able to navigate between the adjacent tafsirs, without each time clicking on the corresponding aayat..

I'm using this app for about 2 months. This app works correctly. The search tools work correctly. The on demand quranic reading works correctly, Also the tafsir tools are effective 👍. No Adds 👍👌. هناك كثير من التفاسير، شيء جيد في ذاته؛ لاكن الاختيار صعب اللهم إلا المعروف كابن كثيير؛ لو أنكم تقدمون مدى قوة وسلامة كل تفسير أو تختارون الخمسة الأقوى. يبقى هذا التطبيق مهم ورائع. The Programming quality of this app is at the level of the year 2023. 👌 👍 جزاكم الله عنا كل خير.
