About this app

The app will show you all the music on your device, sorted by Artist, Album, and a list of all the songs. Your mp3s can be played, paused, and rewound.

The click wheel works just like how you remember, with haptic feedback while scrolling. You can adjust the clickwheel clicker, shuffle songs, and/or repeat all options in the settings.

Ratings and reviews

Very easy to navigate, but I do have a little nitpick that I would appreciate if it gets resolved: The app has a bit of a problem where it locks files to a single cover if your files are tagged. I'm not sure how it gets determined, but the app does not understand giving multiple files a different cover if the songs are part of that same album/folder or composer. For example if I have tracks from the same franchise but different games and they display a single cover instead of a respective one.

Would have loved to give 5 stars but..... It's glitchy and sometimes needs to rescan for your library. Sometimes you can't pick up where you left off if you were listening to a song. (Having a feature that would remember the song you were last playing or where you left off in the playlist would be much appreciated!)orLYRICS with CENTER button. The original (i)Pod was THE MOST dependable mp3 player on the market while other mp3 players glitched... I want to see that similar quality emulated here.

Almost perfect... The app really does look and feel like a classic iPod. However, long pressing a song title by holding in the middle button does NOT trigger the ability to create a playlist. Long pressing on a song title does absolutely nothing. I've had multiple people try it. Instructions are clear and hard to mess up. The function simply doesn't work. It's almost a fatal flaw bc not being able to create a playlist on an " iPod " is dumb. Takes away from the initial excitement.
