Every professional who has worked in the healthcare field has been able to verify that prescribing intravenous medications can sometimes be an arduous and difficult task. Most of the perfusion manuals available, either due to the absence of the type of serum indicated for the dilution and administration of the drug, or due to the complexity of the preparation, are difficult to use and memorize.
The "Manual of Frequently Used Parenteral Drugs in the Emergency Department" application tries to simplify this task as much as possible, helping with calculations and frequently used dilutions. From the beginning, the idea was that it be extended not only to professionals in the hospital setting (hospital emergencies, intensivists, anaesthetists,...), but also to the out-of-hospital setting.
The application is free, interactive and easy to use, progressively implementing evolutionary and useful changes that become necessary in daily clinical practice.
