Edulog’s Parent Portal Lite is a self-service app that allows you to track your child’s assigned transportation from his or her school. Know what routes and vehicles have been assigned to your child, complete with planned pickup and dropoff locations and times. Track in real time your child’s bus’s position. know when to send your child to the bus stop to avoid waiting in bad weather. Configure notifications to alert you when your child’s bus is nearing pickup or dropoff.

Ratings and reviews

Great when it works, but it's really inconsistent. I'll randomly stop receiving updates until I log out and log back in. Sometimes it's every few days, sometimes every day. Alerts have also been delayed more than 20 minutes, which has caused us to be late. Generally there is a lot of room for improvement. Wish it remembered the zones when adding a new bus. It's so tedious having to set it all up when the kids are on a different bus for a single day. Good concept, very poor execution.

Is a good app, I like that it shows the exact location of the bus and notifies you. Sometimes, though depending on the day we are not able to log. Also would be more useful to know how far is the bus as in how many stops, for us the bus might be within 1 mile but still might have 6-7 stops before us, so we usually arrive too early and end having to wait for a long period of time.

This has helped a lot to track where my kids are on the bus. However, when you go through the trouble of setting up alerts, I would find it more helpful if those alerts would automatically transfer to the substitute bus number. You definitely have to pay attention to the app and bus locations - not just rely on alerts. Otherwise, this could cause some issues. And also understand that the app is typically a courtesy of the school system. If your kid misses the bus, you're still responsible.
