Designed for those who run multiple gasoline engines that require different fuel-to-oil mixing ratios. Especially helpful if you also use fuel additives, run your engines seasonally or keep multiple fuel containers filled with different mix ratios to feed your engines.
Mixing the right amount of oil-to-fuel to run your gasoline engines helps with its performance and longevity. So, I always try to follow manufacturer's recommendations when running my engines.
I run many small gas engines in my RC hobby , as well as grass trimmers, generators, etc. Many of these engines have different fuel-to-oil mix ratio requirements.
This app is flexible and simplifies the mix requirement calculations. You can specify the volume of fuel or specify the dollar value ($) of fuel purchased to mix. Metric, Imperial and US measurements are supported.
Gas stations usually sell fuels by dollar value rather than by volume. However, if you split your purchases into batches, then you can calculate using the "Volume" option.
Custom mix ratios are accommodated for by the app, as well as calculations for fuel additives (like fuel stabilizers, cleaners, boosters, etc.).
To make using the app quicker and easier, there is also a [SAFE] button to save information entered and a [LOAD] button to re-populate the respective fields with the saved information.
A user-configured list of engines and their respective mix ratio can be accessed by pressing the [LIST] button while in the calculation screens. This serves to further simplify and enable more efficient usage of the App by transferring the information to the calculation screens.
You can also track what's in your gas/fuel containers, when they were filled and how old are it's contents by going to the [CONTAINER] option in the main screen. Color coded indicators shows the user at a glance the age of the contents in each container.
If you only use one method to calculate, check out my single page apps with different colored caps to minimize the number of clicks required. (e.g. Yellow cap for 1 page-value based)
I hope you find this app useful. Any feedback, comments or suggestions are welcome.
