Took forever to connect our bed to this. Couldn't get it into pairing mode, then stuck on "please connect your bed's WiFi". This ended up being an issue with our phone. We had to click a prompt saying we wanted to stay connected to the bed even though there isn't internet available from it. We set up the skill with Alexa but it doesn't seem to work. Can't get it connected to Google Assistant at all. Kind of pointless. I guess having the remote on the phone will come in handy occasionally though.

Very bad app full of bugs, not compatible with modern routers. Be ready to waste HOURS of your time and probably fail to setup. I had to use a old 2.4ghz router because you need a separate, permanent 2.4ghz SSID. Then it gets stuck at the end constantly telling you to try again later. I work in IT, i'm a programmer and this app is an unmitigated, unmaintened and amateurish disaster. I ended up using another app, as this app is just a copy of another. Try the apps Amanda Base Wifi it works better

Evidently this is like all the other IoT apps and devices we have that for some reason have to be connected to the internet and needs you location and other unnecessary permissions in order to enable local control of something. That's why the app doesn't work. You have to have internet connection at the same time you are connected to this, which isn't possible if your phone IS the wifi hotspot... IM TIRED OF GOOGLE WANTING INTERNET AND YOUR LOCATION TO ENABLE CONTROL OF A SIMPLE LOCAL DEVICE!
