About this app

Welcome to the Alert LA Count emergency notification system mobile app. This is a free public safety application brought to you by the Los Angeles County to effectively alert and inform the community with information that could save lives. Alert LA County delivers free emergency, community and missing person notices generated by authorized county officials. The app also delivers free weather warnings from the National Weather Service to users within the direct path of severe weather. The app is geo-aware, requiring users to turn on their location services so the app may deliver notifications relevant to the user’s current location.

Keeps stopping, no updates. I really need a reliable alert app right this minute. My area is on evacuation warning for a wildfire and there are other fires in the county. First, the app does not even open to my location. It stops after a second or two, but a couple times it stayed open long enough to tell me there are NO alerts. Useless, utterly useless.

They want me to pay for a subscription for weather alerts ⚠️ when they tell me it expired for me. Therefore, there is a tropical storm coming to Los Angeles and got no notification. It's really awful. Don't get this app. It's dangerous and failed to inform or give any warning for the tropical storm here in Los Angeles.

the app is useless in its present form. it crashes within a few seconds of being started. If it is not a legitimate app, Google should remove it from the store. If it is a legitimate app, it should at least start up. another user who uninstalled.
