Ratings and reviews

There are very few apps for learning Icelandic. I think I've tried them all now and this one is my favorite. As a language teacher, I look for actual content and not just flashy graphics. This app is fun and does a good job at reviewing. (Edit) I found the one feature I was looking for, skipping words. I can flag a word to not show up in the reviews, but it's still in my list if I want to study it.

I like the free version so far. Sometimes, the audio makes it difficult to pick up on the nuance of the word, but I'm glad to have it either way. I find it strange that it has you learn a bunch of random vocabulary before you can move on to things that you'll actually need to know but prahpas this is just to give you a base line of what to expect. I will practice more and update my review in the future. I'm looking forward to going to Iceland!

Very good. But now I'm tired. I've been learning Icelandic on my own without any audio before. Finally I get audio! There are 2 games. But I noticed no grammar, declensions or conjugation, and practicing the audio of words and phrases. Icelandic is pretty hard to learn so grammar and the audio are essential.
