It's a decent start for an app. The features on it are really nice when they work, but I find the app often loses connection or simply won't load. When it does work the ride generator is awesome, I love being able to tell it to avoid highways with its route planning and seeing level 2 charging stations on your way. Hopefully livewire can get the kinks worked out in the next version or two. The bike itself is the funnest motorcycle I've ever owned.

Overall it is a good app. Most of the time it functions as you'd want it to, 90% of the time. The other 10% it may not update general data or route data. It's important that these things work 99% of the time, and I've had to pull a fuse once and put it back to reset and get it back going. Feature request I'd like to see is the ability to adjust charge percentage in the app. Most of the time 80% is good for me, if I decide I want to ride longer it would be nice to be able to adjust it remotely.

55 bikes sold last quarter. $19 million in losses. Livewire is done for. They're run by a bunch of executives that genuinely don't care about their customers. This app is an example of that. Early adopters paid $30k; have failing LCD displays, and can't use the new app or even the old S1 app for the ELW. Then discontinue HD Connect with no options. Bikes failing left and right and no published manuals because HD and Livewire don't support Right to Repair. Never will buy another HD or Livewire.
