considering buying a U2x, but as the app is so much of the experience it should be possible to have a demo mode, or even allow local android playback, so that it helps sell the hardware.

The Lumin D2 is a fantastic sounding audiophile streamer, let down by the App which is universally disliked - for good reason. It's clunky, unattractive and difficult to use. Works better on an iPad or Samsung Pad and less so on a smartphone where some of the App functions are missing?

The Lumin app works well with my iPad but is very flaky with my Samsung s21. Most of the time the device doesn't appear in the app, even though both iPad and the phone are on the same network. Sent several emails to support and they haven't fixed this issue so far. Very frustrating. Please fix the issue with Android devices Edited Jun 27th. The new release is great. It addresses all my concerns in the previous version. Thanks for fixing all the issues.
