Never connects with mixer. The app sees the online DL32R mixer and I can select it. But then it just silently fails to connect. It is as if I'm using the offline/demo mode. There are no error or diagnostic messages. The app makes me feel totally helpless. I've searched online and this connection step is never explained--yet, the iOS devices in the videos connect properly. My other band members use iOS devices and it works for them. It's just this Mackie Android app that fails. Poorly engineered.

Works Well, Except... Two significant problems: 1.) it constantly disconnects from the mixer. That's serious. 2.) The other problem is more of a limitation: when running IEMs, you cannot pan channels left or right, so everything is always mono, which is REALLY sad. Other systems seem to have that capability, so when my church upgrades its system in a few years, we'll probably be getting off the Mackie bus. Too bad, because there's a lot we like about it, but running IEMs in mono is depressing.

This app worked fine until android 13 update. Some minor issues but it was still usable. It's been months and no update. It seems the knowledge base and faq/feedback sites linked off the app are non existent. Mackie has left me stranded. I have a dl32s and didn't expect to have to buy an iPad to backup my android device. I've downloaded mixstation at the recommendation of a friend. Its similar, but for $5 it works, where for free MasterFader doesn't. Check out mixstation.
