Wow, I had no idea that I actually kinda missed these old pre-Material Android galleries... I think maybe they're just a touch more intuitive-feeling than what Google's developed since those days. I suspect they've shifted focus to Google Photos etc, cos it's ridiculously good. But if you're looking for a good old fashioned photo gallery with just enough bells & whistles to be exceptional while staying out of the way, this one will do fine.
