Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan
Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Institute was established in 2008 through a special Act to regulate Sanskrit education at the school level and to promote research and extensive study in Sanskrit and its rich literature, along with allied disciplines.
As per the provisions of Section 3(1) of the Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Institute Act 2007, notified by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, School Education Department, Vallabh Bhavan, Bhopal (Order No. 44-1/2007/20-3), the institute came into effect on 18-01-2008.
The Institute also includes the Jiwaji Observatory, Ujjain, and the State Yoga Training Center, Bhopal, making it a unique center dedicated to advancing Sanskrit studies, research, and holistic learning.
