The MuseClass student mobile app paired together with the MuseClass teacher web app streamlines the way music teachers create, distribute, and grade music assignments.

MuseClass' assessment technology is not only compatible with all of the printed and digital lesson materials teachers already have but it also works seamlessly with the various assessment methods that teachers are already using. MuseClass provides a single, intuitive tool to assess every students’ performance. Whether educators assign printed or digital sheet music, or if they are grading video, audio, in-person, worksheet, or non-performance assignments, MuseClass speeds up and simplifies the grading process. When printed music is distributed and assigned, students can create and turn-in video or audio recordings using the MuseClass app.
MuseClass includes a built-in tuner and metronome, which helps students tune their instruments and play in time. When learning a new piece of music and recording their assignment, students can record as many attempts as they like and choose the version they like the most, and can submit it safely and securely to their teacher directly from their mobile device.
MuseClass only requires an Internet connection to receive and submit completed music assignments. Internet service is not required for students to learn, practice, or record their assignments.

Ratings and reviews

This app is a finicky nightmare. Way too many bugs for an app used by music students to submit their work. Many times my work was lost or marked missing because the app failed to upload it or just didn't submit on the other end. Takes forever to select a file whenever the buttons won't respond to you, and in general is just way to finicky to make uploading assignments a smooth process. Most things the app offers for editing doesn't work either. Have to use a different app for recording, too.

This app is in desperate need of an update. When I activated one of my recent assignment, it loaded in for a few seconds before crashing and closing my app out, I've already tried reinstalling the app, force stopping it, and restarting the phone but each time I've tried, it gives me the same results and because of this, I can't complete any of my assignments. At this point, I'm not so sure whether it's my phone or the app itself as this app was working fine on my phone a year ago.

Every drum corps I have been in requires that I use this app, and I absolutely wish they used a different app instead. This app is so finicky; you'll go to upload a recording and it takes eons to upload, and when it does, the upload might just randomly drop. The mojority of the time though, I can't even upload a video because when I selct the video I want uploaded, the app just crashes. Literally a 48 second video with awful quality settings is still too much for the app. 0 stars.
