Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the FULL game experience, a Gothic, exploration-focused side-scrolling action RPG by Koji Igarashi, packing all of the best features you’ve come to know and love from the Metroidvania genre into a single, content-packed game.

Have you ever played the Nintendo Switch version and told yourself, "Wow! I wish there was a worse way to play this game"? Well, you're in luck! I'm playing on a OnePlus Nord N10, which runs the game fine on low settings. The controller support could really get an update cuz the menus don't work with the controller at all. When you're doing anything in the menu, you have to use the touchscreen. If I could write more than 500 characters, I'd talk about all the other issues that I've had so far...

A metroidvania wherever you go is a dream come true, but unfortunately it's got some issues. The main one being the controls. The touch controls become completely unresponsive at times and there are also many user interface bugs - there are times where an item or shard drops and there is usually an on screen prompt telling you what you get, but it often doesn't show up, which makes farming materials a pain. Keeping it at 3 because there is still a big game here, but with a terrible UI.

Is it just me having this problem: When I use Thrashing Tentacle...umm...there's no Tentacle(s)... rendering the move useless. I've seen footage of the move and there are definitely tentacles coming out of the sigil. Not for me though. Not a deal breaker...but disappointing. As far as everything else...meh...read the other reviews. We all agree this game needs an update STAT. The game is still playable and I'm enjoying it. But for 10.00 bucks I expect something better than "playable".
