I downloaded this on my audiologist's recommendation (for NO JOKE, 500 dollars) and I have to say I'm fairly disappointed. There isn't really any kind of feedback loop to show you are or aren't making progress, and there is no way to pick exercises that focus on what you struggle with. The included lessons aren't much help and aren't tailored to my needs. The app feels woefully underdeveloped: if I had known, I would have saved my money for an updated version or tried a different program.

We're happy to help; reach out to us at support@neurotone.com any time! There are 4 types of exercises in Lace that address different listening and communication skills. You can select your preference before each session. The My Progress section shows your progress in a few different ways. We encourage you to talk to your audiologist as well. :)

So far, have only worked with noises in crowds. Being able to select topics of interest makes it entertaining. It desperately needs a way to disable the annoying avatars, however. they almost make me want to stop using it, and was why i took off a star. I received my license through my audiologist, and had no problem establishing an account. definitely not cheap, but if the software successfully wards off cognitive losses, it's worth it.

Hi, Quintin! We're glad you're enjoying the variety of content. Our development team is working on customization options for the avatars, so keep an eye out for updates soon. Maybe we can earn that star back. :)
