This app sucks. It has features, but they rarely work for me. Reason being that 75% of the time when I try to make adjustments on the app a little message pops up that says "network may have trouble". Also it's not real time. I have to constantly refresh it to see current numbers. I don't get notifications for faults or warnings until after I've resolved the issue. At that time when everything's fixed it will send me a message telling me what the error code was. Mostly useless. Could be cool.

Just like the "SmartESS" app before it, all EG4 apps seem to be developed by some of the worst coders in the world. They don't understand time zones, lots of stuff is spelled wrong or makes no sense, and the application is barely functional even in the most basic areas. Even Victron lets you view real-time stats, and even zoom in and out of your graphs. So I bought a "solar assistant" raspberry pi device, and never looked back.

App works just good enough to do what you need, but you'll find yourself needing to restart it quite frequently to reconnect. When you see the apps from other solar vendors it really leaves a lot to be desired. Hoping the new version coming will address these issues
