- A beautiful and very entertaining book, full of amusing stories and legends. A book of very high historical value. A distinguished literary work, it is a descriptive narrative written in an archaic style that may seem heavy, exaggerated, and excessive in mentioning some minor details at times, to the modern reader, of course. It remains a unique, rare, and extremely valuable work. It can be considered an open window onto an interesting aspect of the intellectual approach, imagination, and beliefs of our ancestors from over 1000 years ago!

- A good book. I don't know how accurate the information is, but it's a bit like legend, perhaps. I recommend choosing a few titles and reading them. Al-Mas'udi covers most aspects with detailed explanations, but I didn't particularly like this style. Ultimately, it's a good book that answers questions I've always had, but I don't know how reliable the information is. I recommend reading it.

Yasmin Gnayem

- The book is pleasant. It contains stories and accounts about past civilizations, all entertaining, some true and some based on Isra'iliyyat (neither believed nor disbelieved). Overall, it gave me a glimpse, albeit partial, into how people viewed ancient civilizations 600 years ago.

Ahmed Eltaher

- An entertaining book, like a collection of fairy tales, but there's some doubt about its accuracy. I think it draws from Isra'iliyyat, the authenticity of which is unknown. I recommend reading the headings first so the reader doesn't waste time. Glory be to God for His wondrous creation!

- A delightful book filled with strange tales that lighten the load of some serious books. You don't need to read every detail. Rather, I advise you to choose whichever titles appeal to you. The book discusses many topics, including: the age of the world; the nations created before Adam (peace be upon him); the jinn, their races, and tribes; the earth and what is in it; the surrounding sea and its wonders; the story of Tinnis; Adam (peace be upon him) and his son; some of the stories of his son; the son of Noah (peace be upon him); Canaan, son of Ham; Japheth, son of Noah; Gog and Magog; the Slavs; the Greeks; China; the Kingdom of Andalusia; the Kingdom of the Turks; the Kingdom of the Romans; the Kingdom of Persia; and Muhammad.
