This book addresses a serious issue, namely the issue of "the mind" in the Islamic perspective. It presents bright images of the guidance of the imams of the first three centuries. The author places the mind at the pinnacle of faculties and energies after knowledge of God Almighty. He states that people differ in their minds, just as trees differ in their fruits. He states that the mind is of two types: A natural mind and a mind of experience. He mentioned educational texts that address the spark of thought and work to mature, develop, and enrich the mind. He mentioned the means that confuse, degrade, and degrade the mind, and he took it upon himself to warn against them and warn against their proponents. In this, he defended the modernists against the slander that claims they neglected the mind and did not pay adequate attention to it. In this and other works, he cites evidence that clarifies his opinion and what he mentions.

Author:
Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr, Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Ubayd ibn Sufyan ibn Qays al-Baghdadi al-Qurashi, their client, one of the clients of the Umayyads (208 AH - 281 AH), nicknamed Ibn Abi al-Dunya (his nickname overshadowed his name, to the point that he became famous by it). Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr was born in the city of Baghdad in the early third century AH, in the year 208 AH. He was an Arab historian and educator. He taught the Abbasid Caliph al-Mu'tadid and his son, al-Muktafi. Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir - may God have mercy on him - said of him in Al-Bidayah wa'l-Nihayah: "He is known for his many beneficial, popular, and well-known works on spiritual matters and other topics. He was truthful, a memorizer, and a man of integrity."

- The lineage of the son of Adam is his actions.. So, consider your actions in terms of lineage.. The lineage of the son of Adam is his wealth.. If he is good, his lineage will be good for him.. The adornment of the son of Adam is his mind.. And the adornment of the mind is good manners...
Hanaa

- This information must be taken into consideration, which is: "Many people use these terms [mind and brain] synonymously, even though they are completely different. Mind is a spiritual word It is not material, and it refers to the ability to think, which distinguishes humans from animals. As for the brain, it is a material word and represents the contents inside the human skull and includes: the cerebrum, the cerebellum, and the brainstem. Before reading this book, to avoid confusion in understanding the hadiths, the concept of mind in this book is not the concept we take from the word itself, which refers to the brain that every human being possesses, but rather as I mentioned previously.
