Al-Wabil Al-Sayyib fi Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib is a book by Sheikh Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya that explains the hadiths on supplications and remembrances mentioned in the book Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib, authored by his teacher Ibn Taymiyyah.
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya introduced his book with an introduction on the virtue and importance of remembrance. He then included seventy-five chapters on supplications and traditions that a Muslim should not neglect, such as remembrances for sleeping and waking up, the call to prayer, entering graveyards, the occurrence of rain, the sighting of the crescent moon, grief, those who have lost something, solar and lunar eclipses, marriage, congratulations, and many others.
The book is a letter sent by Ibn Qayyim to some of his brothers. Its subject revolves around the virtue of remembrance of God Almighty, its great effect and benefits, its sublime status and position, its lofty position and degree, and the abundant rewards prepared for its people, those who are characterized by it, in the Hereafter and in this world. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned in his book, "Happiness is in Three Things": Gratitude for Blessings, Patience in the Face of Tribulation, Repentance from Sin, Righteousness of the Heart, Evidence of Respect for Commands and Prohibitions, Attention in Prayer, Acceptable Actions, People in Prayer are of Five Ranks, Types of Hearts, The Bad Breath of the Fasting Person, Charity and Its Effects, and Remembrance of God and Its Benefits (Remembrance contains more than one hundred benefits). After listing a number of benefits, he said: "Let us mention beneficial chapters related to remembrance to complete the benefits." He then listed seventy-five chapters, the last of which is the seventy-fifth chapter on the comprehensive supplications and invocations of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which a person cannot do without.

- Our religion is truly beautiful, by God Almighty. This book is very spiritual; it touches your heart and awakens you from your slumber in a simple way. You must read this valuable book with your heart, not your eyes and tongue. Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him and reward him for this book.

- A beautiful book, the most distinctive feature of which is its wonderful collection of everything related to the benefits of remembrance. This book is unlike any other book we pass over lightly. The best of us are those who stock up on it and memorize whatever remembrances they can. We have nothing left in this world.

❇️ Some quotes from the book Al-Waabil Al-Sayyib fi Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib by Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya ❇️
“He once said to me: The imprisoned is the one whose heart is imprisoned from his Lord Almighty. And the captive is the one whose desires captivate him.”
“Whoever accustoms his tongue to the remembrance of God will protect it from falsehood and idle talk. Whoever dries his tongue from the remembrance of God Almighty will be moistened with all falsehood, idle talk, and obscenity.”
“Loving God Almighty, knowing Him, constantly remembering Him, being content with Him, and devoting oneself to Him alone in love, fear, hope, trust, and dealings with Him, such that He alone is in control of the servant’s concerns, resolve, and will—this is the paradise of this world and the unparalleled bliss. It is the delight of the lovers and the life of the knowers. Whoever does not find contentment in God will have this world torn apart by regrets.”
