The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Carteret County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.

The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

Ratings and reviews

Do you not realize that this app requests permission for not only your location but your photos, contacts, phone logs and storage? So in effect, the CCSO, can and will gather information about you that will ultimately be used quietly against you. (Most likely legal because you gave permission but highly unethical non-the-less!) Anytime I've downloaded this app my phone will start glitching and acting weird. Do not download it if you value your privacy and/or freedom!

It's an awesome, helpful site, helpful with weather warnings and easy to search for county areas you might be interested in

Great app. Carteret county is doing an excellent job of keeping up with technology.
