Ocean County Health Department is an interactive mobile app designed to assist the citizens and visitors of Ocean County, NJ before, during, and after an emergency or disaster whether natural or manmade.

The app provides various features that strive to help keep the citizens of Ocean County educated, prepared, and informed on preparedness and protective measures. Such features include: Infectious Diseases, Wellness Check, and Emergency Preparedness. Although we cannot always predict when emergencies or disasters will occur, every individual, family, business, and community must do their part to ensure they are prepared.

This app was supposed to let you know when appts for vaccine were avail; it doesn't. Last night I was checking all my sites and saw that appts were avail; of course by the time I entered my info the "site could not be reached"; after multiple tries it changed to "fully booked". No notice from the app allowing me to try earlier. During the recent storm I was getting weather reports every hour or so as well as notices that appts were canceled; once is enough. This app is a waste of time!

Claims to have vaccine information. Where? Nothing in there shows anything about where to go or how to sign up. It's really confusing everyone how to get a vaccine, and there is nothing new on this app. People just want a list of places to go/call/whatever. 74 year old COPD asthmatic anemic mother is still waiting for her vaccine but the 37 year old Uber driver got his because he knew ShopRite offered them for a hot minute. Shame on you NJ! Total Disorganization and an app that doesn't help!

I downloaded it yesterday, and uninstalled it 10 min. later. Everyone's reviews are ACCURATE. Absolutely USELESS in trying to schedule or get info about vaccine distribution. Don't bother.
