The Schertz Police Department mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Schertz and the surrounding area. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens Information which will include, but not be limited to Resource Mapping, Push Notifications, Weather Alerts, Public Health Alerts, Direct Contact Calling, and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Schertz Police Department will be able to better protect our community.

App mostly useless when you compared to the notifications that PD posts on their FB page. No regular safety notifications. There was a police chase last night and some people received calls telling them to stay inside because of possible armed individuals. No notification on this app until the problem was reported to their FB page. Don't advertise the service on the PD website if you can't support it! 👎

What happened? Very inconsistent now. Is very useful app for receiving safety warnings/notifications (city, school, wx, etc.) affecting the city of Schertz and surrounding areas--if it is actively updated by PD. Note 1/25/23: Schertz Pd missed a traffic light out Woodland Oaks Dr/3009. Report on FB but not this app. What's the purpose of having this app if these things aren't reported?

The app keeps closing and I can't see what y'all have posted. I reinstalled but still not working. It was working in the beginning.
