This is the companion app to the Olarm device. The Olarm device plugs into almost every alarm system, letting you control your home security from your mobile device. Olarm is a proudly South African product.

The app works really well and the recent updates has been useful. My only concern is that when there is a notification from the app there is no sound/ringtone. When there is an alarm there is just the vibration and no sound. I've tried to test the notification sounds on multiple devices (Android) with no success. I've been through the option but to no avail. Please can the developer look into that, unless I've missed something. Thanks

App is flaky and very slow to load. Oftentimes bypassed zones would go back to being unbypassed once the alarm is armed. The subscription is quite expensive, especially considering how basic the system's functionality really is. Ours is permanently connected to out home's wireless network, so the cellular connectivity doesn't ever get used. It would have been nice to have had stuff like scheduled zone bypassing, arming or disarming. I appreciate the convenience that the solution offers though.

I Installed the new 4 G Model. In my opinion it does lacks one feature that is becoming essential and would super charge capabilities and uses of the system, and truly make it smart, which in my opinion it is not truly and that is Google Home /Alexa intergration. A true smart system would be able to arm my alarm with voice prompt from my phone, while I'm driving away. Many systems have this capability, and I see more and more people with Alexa in their homes, and Olarm is staying behind
