About this app

This simple app allows you to compute and compare the price per unit of up to six items. It can be useful at any store - is it worth it to buy the bulk package? Which size saves you more?

This app is fast because it's dead simple: just type two numbers and you're done. To use the app, just enter the price of the item and the number of units (oz, lbs, number in package, etc). It will calculate the unit price and highlight the best price as soon as the numbers are entered. There are fields for the quantity, name of each item and the name of each item's units, but they're optional.

You can use the Quantity to compare buying multiple packages - if you are buying 2 24 oz packages, you can either enter '48' in the Units field or '24 'in the Units field and '2' in the Quantity field.

There isn't currently a way to export the data, but if you want to save the comparison for later you can just take a screenshot.

This app has no ads, requires no permissions, and collects no data.

An app so straight-to-the-point that being 20 MB in size doesn't feel right. 😅 Not even a hamburger menu or overflow menu (with three dots); all the controls you'll ever need is at the top row. This app does its job well. I like that you can add as many or few items as you want to compare. Biggest con: the buttons at the top don't tell you what they do. Learning curve. It should be like other Android apps where pressing and holding shows it. Controls towards the bottom would be nice too.

Suggest to make this app more user friendly : -Put buttons in lower position (above keypad) for easy accessible by holding phone in one hand. Because another hand is holding groceries -Clear button should relocate/reset cursor back to first item. Current behavior the cursor still in last input box, need action to tap to first item -Item numbers always reset to 6 items when opening app, not retained to user preference. My preference is... Great! I just wish there was an option to input units first. It's just easier to put in units first.
