Update: I'm confirming the ambient temp added a few days ago. Still, there are a lot of possibilities to improve UI & functions since it's a connected device. It's a glorified version of IR remote controller to me. I'm not looking for Nest replacement but there's ways to improve. It can be much easier to program the temperatures, just like ordinary wall programming thermostats. Also, it would be great to show system usage and run or idle.

Hello and thank you for your review. Thanks to advice from you and similar users, we have now added in a "Detected temperature" parameter to relay the current ambient temperature in the room. Hopefully that is of use. We will work on other feature requests for future updates.

Works really well! Please explain the purpose of GEN Mode, 8° Heat, Health mode? I've been unable to find documentation online that explains these settings. You can control the unit far more precisely with this app than with the included remote. I was expecting the app to be a JOKE. But other than the lack of a user guide in the help section, it's really GREAT. It was so seamless to sync the unit and then set everything up in the app. Very impressive. Future series should have WiFi built-in.

Dear user, thank you for the feedback. GEN mode is a power-limiter mode for cases where the unit needs to run on generators. LV1, 2, 3 is 30, 40, and 50% power draw respectively. Health mode is an ionizer activator (optional). And the 8°C HEAT is a a special "Freeze Protection" fixed setting of 8°C/46°F which is used to keep pipes from freezing.

Good app, but temp says 61 all the time. You can trn it on and off, change modes and fan speed, but something is wrong with the temperature-it won't save when you slide or enter a number. It just goes back to 61 degrees even though the mini-split stays the same temp. Hopefully this is an easy software fix.
