Just got mine today and it needs a lot more work. It either cuts its path short or over runs the distance it is supposed to go. Keeps going into a room that I did not put in its path. It will stop and turn around trying to figure out where it is and turn right at a door or furniture leg or wall and run straight into it. I have made its patrol path about 8 times and it can not complete one patrol without getting lost. I hope there is new firmware coming out very soon because this just doesn't cut

If I'm away and my alarm system goes off, I wanted something that I could remotely drive around the house and see what is going on while the police are on the way. This does this perfectly, even on a cell phone connection I can drive it around without issues. If this is what you're looking to do it's the perfect device in the app works great

Scout routinely disconnects from the network and needs to be manually reset to make it work, making it pointless because you need to be near it to reset it. Contacted support multiple times but they are unable to resolve the issue and have now stopped replying. If you have a mesh network, it refuses to swap to other routers on the network and as soon as you are out of range of the first router it is connected to, the connection drops and it disconnects again. Frustrating and expensive bit of kit
