it has a lot of features that are in the machine is handbook that are just easier access in this digital form. The brain checks, little multiple choice test over GD&t, reading measuring devices, interpreting blueprints, etc. invaluable for new operators coming into the field. My real big problem with it is a subscription based add-on calculator, calc ultra. for one year of that subscription, you could buy a TI-84

Thanks for the feedback, James! This review is on the older CNC Machinist Calculator Pro app page, which has no subscription. The subscription you mentioned applies only to the new Ultra version. Glad you’re finding the features helpful!.

Best App a Machinist could ever have. I see a negative review here and there and I really don't understand why. It should be 5 stars across the board. I have bought many machinist calculators, software, or other apps and nothing has been close to this one at all. Some of them are running 4 times the price, with 25% of the features. I've had it now since early 2023 and have used it almost everyday since. Definitely one you need buy whether you've been doing this 30 years or just starting out.

4.999/5, absolutely love it for work. The machine I run wont do cutter comp, this allows me to calculate and cut angles and radii as if the machine was working correctly. The angle calculator is great, only 2 "complaints" I could have is the calculator doesn't show a history so if you mistype soemthing theres seemingly no way to check, and the cutter comp wont do more than one angle, so on a part with an angled OD leading to another angled OD I have to write 2 seperate programs.
