As a boy, back in the 1950's, learned to splice from "old fishermen" , yachtsmen, real seamen, "sailmasters" . This is the best "app" by far dealing with cordage, line, sheet, splicing. It would want to be top rated as it is from a rope and cordage manufacture. Only common splice missing is the rope to chain, "anchor splice" Come on app Devs...!!!! add the anchor. Best app available on splicing. 9.5 stars outa 5.

Mostly clear photos and instructions. A few complicated knots, often those easy to get wrong, maybe need further technique elaboration eg the button knott for soft shackles.

Amazing app, when it worked. Crashes after selecting any splice. Promised fix either hasn't come or didn't work.
