Surat Al-Fath is the forty-eighth surah within the twenty-sixth part of the Holy Qur’an, and it is one of the civil suras, and its name is taken from the first verse in it. God Almighty is grateful to His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, for what He has provided of the clear conquest and for the believers who are with him, and the beautiful promise to those of them who believed and did righteous deeds.

Among its famous verses is the Almighty saying in the verse (18):﴿ God is pleased with the believers, when they sell you under the tree, so he knows what is in their hearts, so he will be blessed.

There are many narrations about the virtue of reading it, including what was narrated on the authority of the Prophet (PBUH): Whoever recites Surat Al-Fath is as if he was one of those who witnessed the conquest of Mecca with Muhammad.
