‡ Note that for a PDF file to import it must contain the text of the script, not just pictures of the text. Some PDFs contain scanned images of the text rather than the text itself, and the app can't import these files as it needs the actual text to work with.

I started using this back in 2015. I am super impressed at how far this app has come. It's easily, now, the best app on the market for memorizing lines. I've been able to convince other actors to record and share lines with me and it's absolutely brilliant! Complete game changer! It's the best $30 (or $7/year) an actor could spend. suggested feature: blur out every word except the first letter in each word. That technique is the best visual one I've found in 20 years. This needs that!

changed my review to 5 stars recently.....very nice there's no spamming ads in this app that take over your phone when your trying to learn lines. The pay version works really well for typing your own lines PDF upload are u readable. overall I do like the pro version. it's nice they offer a free trial with no credit card. I may buy it because it helped a lot for learning lines. it's a little buggy and won't upload all scripts correctly and hard to learn settings if your not a computer person.

I've recommended this to dozens of actor friends. A hugely helpful tool for learning lines, especially when you're on the go: gym, car, grocery store.... It takes a minute to discover all the various playback settings (e.g., playing the script straight through, pausing before your line, repeating your line, pausing for you to say your line from memory without playing it) but they're each super useful for advancing you through different stages of knowing the script. The popup Tips are useful!
