Sync lets you transfer files directly from device to device. Share photos, videos, docs without storage limits: our technology works especially well with huge files.

To get the best performance and to avoid running up your data charges while syncing folders, we recommend leaving the "Use Cellular Data" setting off.

Note: Resilio Sync is a personal file syncing manager. It is not compatible with torrent file sharing applications.

Ratings and reviews

I've been using this app for 8+ years on mobile and desktop. It works great on mobile but at some point it started killing my battery even with 0 syncs for multiple days straight. Each day it is at the top of my battery usage list. Using the battery saver feature in app doesn't help. I've had to stop auto starting the app and now manually start/stop it only when needed. It's annoying since it should be a background app that I shouldn't have to babysit. Also the new app logo is terrible.

Works well once you get it set up: confusing at times. Sometimes, I think it is me, but then I go back later and do what I did before, and it works. The biggest complaint is the app itself as it does not have a provision to back up the settings. It is a horrible mess when you have 5 or 10 syncs pairs, and you have to do it all over again. Needs options to backup to a default location or SD card location (preferred].

Awesome multiplatform tool. Excellent to keep files sync'd between devices of all flavors (Linux, iOS, Windows, Android)... Great for backup... Great for media library access (selectively download content)... Wish it had better Linux installation and interface, but once set up it works great! Also would be great if a better file manager were built in (with more capability)
