The mobile application on Water Source Collection is developed to provide a convenient medium of data collection (imagery, basic information of the source & data on water quality) with specified user credentials. This is an offline application keeping in mind the internet availability issues in the rural parts of Bengal. Internet syncing is only required before starting the survey and after completion of data collection to upload the information to the server. The tool has separate sections for various types of data capture for the ease of the data collection and sections to view the status of image and data upload. The application has the most well designed flow of navigation, with maximum system generated options and properly imposed data validation; ensuring nominal manual intervention and thus least human error.
