About this app

Bacalizer is an application that allows you to estimate after which time your body will reach sobriety. Because every human body has a different metabolism, the results should be treated only as a guide. If you want to be 100% sure, use a real breathalyser.

Our promille calculator uses the modified algorithm of Erik Widmark (extended by calculations based on the state of the stomach during alcohol consumption)

Description of the parameters affecting the number of per mille in our body:
✨ Gender - alcohol dissolves in body fluids, the content of which depends on gender.
✨ Body weight - it is needed to calculate the mass of body fluids in the body.
✨ Height - required for calculating the BMI of our body, which allows more accurate calculation of the mass of body fluids.
✨ Alcohols - the amount of pure alcohol in grams is required for the calculation.
✨ Duration - for the result to be reliable, the dose must be spread over the duration of alcohol consumption.
✨ Saturation of the stomach - whether we drink on an empty or full stomach has an impact on the absorption of alcohol into the body.

Old: Most of the time the app works properly. The after consumption calculator does not work properly. It will give an "error" after entering alcohol & pressing next. I have re-installed & still doesn't work. New: Since the recent update the estimations have become drastically inaccurate. The app worked better before. The during drinking & after drinking should be similar, not hours of difference. To input a shot, it doesn't allow a decimal number like 1.5 oz. Shot. Check duration of sobriety

This is a useful way to see if you are ok to drive after drinking. The app has an extensive collection of alcoholic drinks with their alcohol percentage quantities. All you do is enter what you drank, how much and what time and the app tells you if you are sober at the time of the query. You do have to enter your personal body characteristics so that the algorithm can be correctly applied to you. Nice job developer!

This app have everything I need. Four 6% beers in 3 hours is too much for me. Really useful and easy to use, intuitive I would say.
