Wisconsin Public Radio App:

The Wisconsin Public Radio App allows you to listen to WPR’s Ideas Network, News and Classical Network, and 24 Classical Network live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the WPR streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WPR with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WPR even while traveling!
• Integrated program schedules for every WPR stream!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.

On Demand
• Access WPR’s programs easily and quickly.

Update: No matter where I live or what high-speed wi-fi I use, this is the only app that perpetually stops each time I use it. Yet the app is now otherwise excellent. Older review: This app stops more than once every time I try to listen. Also, its organization is confusing. This is unfortunate because wpr has such fine content. They don't realize that we've already contacted them numerous times, yet their app keeps stopping, even on our new devices.

1. I preferred the previous configuration, but will have to give the new setup a longer tryout period. 2. I'd like to see, the news and commentary clearly labeled as such, and also divided into subjects, i.e. Agriculture, Education, Business, Economy, Travel/destnation, Conservation/Environment, Local and state sports, Government, etc. Obviously too much for every day, other than breaking news. The other topics could run on specific days.

Used to be my primary news & entertainment app - but no longer! Since probably Mar., most of time, Listen Live won't even start, & On Demand (using All Things Considered as example), even if you select Play Entire Show, it stops after each article (& when hiking, for example, ridiculous to have to pull out PH & restart, each time!)! Pls fix ASAP (have reloaded several times, with no success, & have EM'd app staff several times, also with no success). Esp. during COVID-19, REALLY NEEDED!! (HELP!)
