About this app

The ProStat Skyport App allows Android users to remotely monitor and control their heating and cooling systems. From the couch to across town, with ProStat Skyport you may control up to 10 locations with up to 10 thermostats at each location from your mobile device.

ProStat Skyport features include:
Simple, easy to use control of the thermostat.
Current weather and forecast is displayed for each location.
Monitor energy use.
Send personal texts directly to the thermostat’s display, such as: "I will be home at 6pm for dinner".
Receive alerts when the space where the thermostat is located is too hot or cold.
Turn on/off time period programming or vacation settings.
Emails may be configured to go to your HVAC service provider when service is needed.

Ratings and reviews

Overall reliable app. Works well both and off premises wifi and away. provides plenty of settings and options although the app is a little different than the GUI on the stat itself. The only issue currently is the usage data doesn't populate on the daily bar graph.

Overall, lots of neat and useful features. There is a bit of a learning curve, and I'm still trying to figure out how to change the thermostat location (it wants to keep my name for some reason), but superior so far to previous limited capabilities thermostats. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Nov 16 2023 version that broke the runtime daily history has been fixed and the temperature centigrade is displayed when changed on the web site. Therefore I increase my rating to four star. Still do not understand the difference between Prostat and Venstar.
