limits at your registered locations.
You are immeidately notified when your sites have exceeded
precipitation limits in a 24 hour period so you
can go inspect the site and ensure compliance with NPDES regulations.
And you know which sites to DO NOT need
inspection, saving you time and costs.

Water Watch PRO(WWP) is simple to use. Just down load the app, mark
your project locations on a map and enter
the phone number and email addresses to receive notification messages.

How it works: Every hour, WWP receives precipitation data from the
National Weather Service (NWS). WWP compares your
registered locations with the NWS data and when the precipitation at
one of your registered locations exceeds the NPDES threshold limit,
you are notified via text message and/or email.

In addition, WWP maintains an hourly report of the precipation at each
location and this report is sent to you at the
end of each month so you have a record for regulatory purposes.

Great resource that uses digital NOAA data to give detailed info. I've used this service for over 2 years for SWPPP monitoring (& keeping an eye on the fields my rec team uses). The customizable notification feature is particularly useful for knowing when a location is going to be too wet. Reporting is accurate and timely. I tracked it with on-site rain gauges at several sites (when that data was complete enough to compare to WWP info) and the digital estimates are in line with field data. A+!

Great tool to monitor rainfall. Developer is knowledgeable, intelligent and a great resource!
