Downloadable kits include recordings of authentic speakers demonstrating the five crucial elements needed to learn an accent, set out in a simple, easy to use structure;
- FREE SPEECH: a 1-3 minute story of personal interest in the speaker’s own words.
- FOUNDATIONS: the oral SETTING, the focal ZONE and the TONE of the accent.
- PRACTICE TEXT: the speaker reading a set text containing all the speech sounds and combinations you need.
- WORD LIST and SENTENCES: all the vowel shapes of the accent together with practice sentences recorded by the sample speaker.

This app is genuinely awful. The recordings are spoken at record speed so if you want to practice them as you hear them, which is how one learns to improve their dialect, it is basically impossible. Truly, this app has no idea how to help people with dialects. I took a class ages ago and wanted to clear up some of the regional sounds I've picked up. With this app, it is impossible to do that. One needs to hear and repeat and listen. But one needs to do it at a slower pace.

I couldn't have asked for anything more except a few more practise passages samples. This app is the only app I think that contains all the british dialects and accents. The best app I would recommend to the ones struggling to choose which british accent to pick up. it also gives other accents. the best. just more sample audio books pls. Well london has a multicultural accent now so some of them would sound indian Nigerian and stuff. One of the Birmingham males have a distinct Nigerian accent

UPDATE: At first I couldn't record myself same as others couldn't. Went into phone's settings, apps, found this one, and learned microphone permission was "denied". Changed that to approved & bingo, recording facility now works! The actual accent studies are improved from when the app first came out years ago. Glad I gave app another chance, downloaded again & purchased lessons.
