Hello! I am the developer of this app.

Transparent Camera is a simple but powerful tool that lets you take photos while overlaying another photo or even a web browser.
Please note: This is not a photo-compositing app. It is designed for capturing the correct pose and angle, not for editing.


Why I created this app
I originally built this app because I wanted to recreate childhood photos with my son, using the same pose and angle.
However, comparing photos side by side never produced an accurate result.

So I thought:
“If I could overlay the old photo while taking the picture, it would be much easier.”

That idea became this app.

What you can do with this app
• Recreate childhood photos or family memories
• Copy popular Instagram poses to improve photography skills
• Cosplay pose matching by aligning characters on screen
• Reproduce travel or anime pilgrimage scenes
• Fixed-point photography (before/after, construction, growth records, etc.)
• Tracing-style reference for artists and creators

Transparent Camera is designed to be easy, lightweight, and simple so anyone can use it immediately.


Why this app does not include photo compositing
I intentionally kept the app simple and focused.
Adding complex editing or compositing features would make the app harder to use and reduce accessibility.
This app is for overlay shooting only. If you want to composite photos afterward, please use another editing app.

Wonderful, exactly what I was looking for! However, there is a slight problem with scaling and cropping. Even in the viewfinder window the pictures matched perfectly, but the final image always differs in scale from the sample

I'll give a five star because for a beginner this can be useful for writing by using the app
